Under the patronage of the Minister for Economy, Technology and Labour, Minister Jürgen Reinholz, the Thuringian Institute for Textile and Plastics Research (Thüringisches Institut für Textil- und Kunststoff-Forschung e.V.) and the Research Association “Materials of renewable resources” (Forschungsvereinigung Werkstoffe aus nachwachsenden Rohstoffen e.V.) invite to the 8th International Symposium “Alternative Cellulose - Manufacturing, Forming, Properties” in the Information and Communication Center of the TITK Rudolstadt on September the 3th and 4th 2008.

During this symposium international experts from industry, universities and institutes as well as from the TITK will express their opinions on issues of “Alternative Cellulose” and will represent their approaches and results.

Renowned, international appreciated scientists and experts in the field of alternative manufacturing, forming, property-evaluation and applications of cellulose have accepted the invitation to this symposium.
