research & development functional polymersystems Polymer modification   back
Polymer modification and - processing - development of intelligent  polymer additives

R&D-works on the modification and treatment of polymers as well as on intelligent polymer additives with reactive and/or functional characteristics of

  • Polyamide, Polyester, Polyolefine and liquid crystalline polymers (LCP) and Polymer blends
  • Development of functional, migration-able polymer-additives with special protectional functions for formulations in polyamides and polyesters with high efficiency
  • Synthesis and modification of thermal stable polymer-systems for the diaphragm cutting-off technology and/or the use in PEM gas cells

R&D-service

  • Synthesis of highly efficient additives for UV-protection, with antibacterial or other functional characteristics for polyamide, polyesters
  • Determination of the UV protection factor (UPF) from textiles according to DIN EN ISO13758-1
  • Optical-microscope analysis under temperature till 600 °C for particle and pollutant analysis and/or polymer characterisation (crystallization, nucleating) inclusive picture-documentation
  • Characterisation of membranes and technological process-analysis of membrane separation processes in the membrane separation technology

Applications

  • Hydrolysis- stabilised PP
  • Cross linked and partly cross linked formulations of polymers in polypropylene and polyamide
  • UV-protection in polyamides and polyesters with highly efficient additives for filaments and fibres, UV-protecting textiles, functional textiles
  • Surface-effective polymer-additives for antibacterial finishing of polyamide filaments
  • temperature-resistant polymer-membranes for wet separation processes in the ultra and micro filtration
  • Alternative polymer materials for the utilisation in PEM-fuel ce
